Yes, then you should have /dev/dri did you also install the gpu statistics plug-in?
No luck.

Code:
root@Truffle:~# cd /dev/dri
bash: cd: /dev/dri: No such file or directory
root@Truffle:~# modprobe i915
root@Truffle:~# cd /dev/dri
bash: cd: /dev/dri: No such file or directory

edit: I wonder could it not be supported yet for my chip/mobo? For example, the NIC in this thing won't be supported until 6.10rc3.

Yep, seems its not supported

Code:
[ 23.505832] i915 0000:00:02.0: Your graphics device 4680 is not properly supported by the driver in this
kernel version. To force driver probe anyway, use i915.force_probe=4680
module parameter or CONFIG_DRM_I915_FORCE_PROBE=4680 configuration option,
or (recommended) check for kernel updates.

No luck.

Code:
root@Truffle:~# cd /dev/dri
bash: cd: /dev/dri: No such file or directory
root@Truffle:~# modprobe i915
root@Truffle:~# cd /dev/dri
bash: cd: /dev/dri: No such file or directory

Alder lake support was added a little bit ago, I checked before I advised it.

I did not. Although the whole thing crashed while I was out this evening. Fuck.
it would have happened sometime around 8-8:15 your time, we had just finished watching the latest Bill & Ted & were fast forwarding through the credits at the end when it pooped out on our end. idk if that helps

I think its got to be something else, as its causing the whole server to crash. It just did it again. :(
Temperatures look OK?

If the kernel module is really as bleeding edge as it seems, it might just be hitting an edge case in the driver. Shit run amok in kernel space will halt the machine.
