I'm lazy, and I know there are like 89 different sockets and RAM types that aren't compatible with each other now.
Probably? It's not hard. I picked a proc. It was a LGA 1700 socket. Found the mobo I wanted with an LGA 1700 socket. It needed DDR4. Found 64GB of DDR4.

No, I don't!

I just put the 3770k in, and it's 400MHz faster at base speed, but about 8°C cooler.

And I don't have a single ingress, egress, or routing map to manage socket traffic because it's all going to good ol' 127.0.0.1.
