only having 2 ram slots that are already populated with 512mb sticks means that to get to 2gb of ram, you don't just buy an additional 1gb stick, you have to buy 2 1 gb sticks...likely still gibberish but I at least made an attempt at explaining it to you

Clean would be formatting that Vista crap and all that other stuff Gateway installs that you will never use and reinstalling Windows, either XP or a stripped down version of Vista. I was going to link you to places to update your device drivers (software that lets Windows know what type of hardware you have inside your laptop shell) if you or fly were going to clean it.

the programs to dj thru your laptop expand every day. cddj/virtualdj/pcdj/whatever..
serato is good because you can actually dj like a real dj with vinyl and/or cd's and scratch and blend and stuff like you normally would. got it up and running last night. hotness. 80,000 songs at your fingertips.. w/out having to carry 80,000 records.
lotta those computer programs are dj'ing for dummies. everybody and they mama thinks they're a dj now because of all the programs. any fukstik with a cd burner and a program thinks he can "DJ".
it's dilluting the profession and making club owners think they don't have to pay good dj's a fair wage. why pay someone 2 or 300 when they can pay johnny button pusher with his burned cd's and other peoples' mixes that he downloaded off the internet 100?
