It was a hardlinks issue. When i added the "preserve hardlinks" flag to rsync, the copy is perfect.

stupid fuckin NTFS 15 year old array.

Recopying the 9TBs that was all fucked up then starting the 65TB transfer

When this is done I will actually have double the storage space I need. Im really tempted to create a second array zfs raidz2, and just run them both to see which i like better. The slow write speed that is inherent to unraid is fuckin killing me. I was willing to accept single disk write speeds.... but 40 MB/s with cache and delayed moves as the option is just shitty.

Except none of that really matters. Especially considering its all write once shit. I spend zero time worrying about transfer rates.

the only thing that keeps it from actually being a limiting factor is the cache drive. My download speed is higher than unraid write to array speed.

It only writes to the array later. But again, none of what you're saying matters for anything other than your e-peen.

Last big tranche transferring. There was something very wrong with my tv folders structure or permissions. It was very very difficult to transfer cleanly. I finally got it though

And yes, I took a picture of my screen

@gee @Domon

A friend had his Vizio TV go out, so he bought a new one, and asked me if I wanted the old one. Sure.

So it powers on and a couple of seconds later, powers off. Reddit seems to suggest that its the power board, which I found for $40 on ebay. Does that sound correct to you guys?

very very common failure on vizios. Its able to get display for the few seconds it fires up? Inspect the power board before buying a new one. Looks for damaged caps or MOSFETS.

if you do get parts, consider making an offer on this instead

then if its not the power board, you have other parts.

I'd buy the complete repair kit that Domon linked to.

And fully expect the thing to drop dead with the same failure in another few years. These TVs are disposable, engineered to minimize cost instead of for reliability.

Yeah, I see the power light come on, backlight comes on, and then off. I can take it apart first, but if I don't see bulging caps or whatever, do I just throw it away instead?

Yeah, I don't really care about it. It's probably going out on the lanai, or maybe the patio (with a tv cover).
