Should have started six months ago, but I've finally started paying extra on my mortgage principal. If I keep paying the extra that I am it will be payed off in 6 years, 7 years from the start. I'll save about 50k in interest, only paying 16k in interest for the entire duration of the loan. In the end, the house will cost me roughly what it was listed for before I haggled the sellers down.

If my oil stock goes parabolic I might contemplate quitting my job and living off the money. My MSc is too intensive for me to carry on working so much.
