There’s a difference between dick jokes and saying I’d cheat on my husband to get a deal on handyman repair because I said I don’t like cooking. Just figured you might want to know that what you were saying wasn’t coming across how you probably intended.
You have to dumb it down for Ed. Try short choppy sentence like "No. Please. Don't. Stop."

On second thought, maybe not in that order.

This lot gets sensitive on a whim. I didn't think you where offensive by any UF standard. But we all know standards often come in a 2-pack.

Just when they stopped grouping us together when one of us does something offensive, you go and lump them all together.
Oh the bitter irony.

See what I did there, OOD?

McCarthy is pretty good at describing disturbing images that stick with you for a while.
I don't like his style, but Blood Meridian was the pick for book club. I find his writing pretentious af. I want a story, not a long as poem.

I read The Road. I found his descriptions of roasting babies on a spit and a basement full of amputees AKA fresh lunch meat disturbing. But the style of that book was like one continuous sentence. I recall conversations could get confusing at times.

Probably the lack of quotation marks.

The road is okay except the ending. And yeah it's like an enormous sentence. McCarty is just not good at stringing thoughts together. I prefer clarity over style.

Meh, how else could it end?
I think he was trying to be ambiguous.
That entire story is a spin on older men having children they know they won't live long enough to see become adults. He knows he will be gone before the child is self sufficient.
He added the Environmental warning stuff and the tried and true "people are bad" trope so the story wouldn't be completely wishy-washy.

A. It was indicated that a joke is coming, this would be the example using the person who's cooking and bedroom activities have been discussed. B. It obviously wasn't true. It's still just a snowball at the center no matter how big you make the snowman.

The complaints segment went quick.
Remember, it's only a complaint if you listen to the complainer.

Any meeting that has a generic agenda that repeats is a meeting I dont need to be at.

Specific targeted topic or GTFO.

are they sticking to the agenda?

Every month. It's a ritual with minor information adjustments here and there.
We even look at charts showing humidity fluctuations. I think it's the same chart every meeting.
It's a perfect opportunity for Catchphrase bingo.
ISO requirements can be stupid. But really, it's our own fault since we created our own quality manual and policies.
