Yup, probably half gone. Funny thing the gf and her friends didn't notice the difference, they were mixing up drinks with sprite and juice and stuff with it, only found out about it after the recall.

Had a sip of it, and yeah. Christmas tree moonshine is pretty much what it is.

I'm curious how the heck they made the mistake. Certainly the bottler purchases X amount of alcohol, which they blend with water and bottle. Wouldn't they notice, uh, "how come we only got half as many bottles out of this batch?"

Could they have distilled it twice, or for twice as long by accident?
 
I need bulk ethanol, like 10-15 gallons of it. I was thinking about making a still :p doesnt matter if its methanolized, its for mixing analine dyes into.
