I enjoy black sails. It took a bit to pick up but was good. The Roman one was Spartacus. Never saw it I just remember after the first season the main actor got cancer and died so they had to redo everything and it never really stuck and got cancelled.

IIRC, it didn't get cancelled, it was based on history and had reached it's terminus. As long as you could slog through the first five or so episodes, probably one of the top five best shows ever.

Been reading the Expanse books. The show captured the books great, and is actually really really faithful to em.
