i like the new pedal i chose wisely it works pretty well on bass too and that buffer switch changes the tone making it almost like 2 fuzzes in 1

Was playing the Crackercaster 5 for a while just now. My one beef is it's too damn bright! Totally passive, no preamp. My educated guess is the tone pot is 500K.
@HipHugHer do you think a 250k pot would bring the zing down? I can barely keep the tone pot at 2.

And it's wearing D'adarrio Chromes. I don't really want to put traditional flats on this bass.

So just for reference, the classic Fender capacitor is a 4.7K orange drop right?

This bass is modeled after a 1958 P. Very different tho. two "stacked" scpb. So actually two himbuclers which look like single coil P pickups. Blend control. B string.
Also it's made of Florida Swamp Cypress. Neck is ash. Fingerboard is Florida golf course rosewood. Variagated so it's blond/brown.
I just wish it wasn't so freaking bright!
