No. You're basically fucking retarded. That switch says Omada SDN Integrated.
That's your hardware controller if I'm not mistaken.
Is that a useful contribution?

Pointing out other's mistakes isn't actually helpful.I don't take my car to Jiffy Lube.
BTW, whats the learning curve issue you mentioned with this? Is it CLI?You would indeed have two distinct interfaces for management. Honestly, though, you're gonna almost never touch the AP management interface once you set it up.
that price is fine. Once you have POE, you're gonna want more POE.

Oh wow, the 90s called from a touchtone phone.gui
try it out
It seems your router and the Omada one are pretty similar in price, but yours has POE. Seems easier to just go with that, no? I can't imagine that its *that* hard to manage.i guess your tp-link solution is good, and that once (or if) you scale out, just adding a poe switch after the router will suffice. Go with that.
Meh, doesn't matter to me. Or are you just trying to avoid questions from me because you don't have a ton of time?its not.... but you dont have a ton of time, and the tplink will be fully integrated with the APs, etc. and you only need one injector right now right?
If one of the vlans on your TPlink isn't Cornholio, I will be very disappointed in you.Meh, doesn't matter to me. Or are you just trying to avoid questions from me because you don't have a ton of time?
And yeah, only one AP.
im trying not to inject my overcomplicated methods into other peoples workflows If i was being my standard self, you'd have a 48 port POE+ brocade 7240 switch, with 10 SFP+, and two 40gbit uplinks, and then another dedicated box running opnsense.Meh, doesn't matter to me. How is Mikrotik at supporting their devices? I do see a lot of mention of TP-Link abandoning shit, so if they're good, I'll probably go with Mikrotik.im trying not to inject my overcomplicated methods into other peoples workflows If i was being my standard self, you'd have a 48 port POE+ brocade 7240 switch, with 10 SFP+, and two 40gbit uplinks, and then another dedicated box running opnsense.
Also guest wifi network because I don't trust your device.security for IOT devices which get absolutely hammered by exploits for botnet inclusion.
Not everyone runs all their shit local only like you.
