And they keep blowing them up, which has been great for parts for keeping my own car going.

computers have gone and changed on me again

I want to reduce the footprint of my main pc, just get it into a smaller htpc style case.

turns out ATX/mATX/etc isnt really a thing anymore, and everything is ITX or mITX. Both mobos and power supplies. All my old atx power supplies dont really fit in most cases anymore.

Use an old guitar/bass amp and you'll have the most awesome built-in speaker.

theres enough slack in mobo risers/mount holes to account for it.

Just use plywood, it's more dimensionally stable than normal wood.

Hell, use OSB to make it match the decor of your murderbasement.
