fuck, thats enough to make a parent go full Kill-dozer.Wrong thread. But also, not only are police giant assholes:
Black Children Were Jailed for a Crime That Doesn’t Exist. Almost Nothing Happened to the Adults in Charge.
Judge Donna Scott Davenport oversees a juvenile justice system in Rutherford County, Tennessee, with a staggering history of jailing children. She said kids must face consequences, which rarely seem to apply to her or the other adults in charge.www.propublica.org
I'm surprised that bitch is still being voted in, unless I misunderstood who is voting in that county (as in county appointed, not citizenry)fuck, thats enough to make a parent go full Kill-dozer.

If i lived in a more rural region, I would making a killing hacking john-deere stuff to help farmers get around their complete bullshit stance on right-to-repair or lack thereof.I'm hitting up my pals in each union to find out how best to support them, like I already didn't plan to purchase farm equipment so I'm not worried about accidentally crossing that line, but IATSE is more confusing because it's got a lot more subsections to it.

I was a Teamster for a decade. The John Deere contract the workers voted down doesn't sound that awful.
John Deere workers go on strike after rejecting wage deal
About 10,000 members of the United Auto Workers union went on strike against farm and construction equipment maker John Deere early Thursday morning.www.cnn.com
that barely covers inflation.I saw this in a different article:
"In its latest offer, Deere bargained for incremental wage increases over six years, equal to about a $1.20 raise in hourly pay at the end of the six-year contract, according to employees. For the 2020 fiscal year, Deere & Co. net income totaled $2.751 billion, according to the company."
...let alone the inevitable insurance premium jacking.that barely covers inflation.
The CNN article I posted said there was also a separate cost of living wage increase which they pointed out would be rather significant right now when you take our current inflation into account. Cost of living increases are almost unheard of anymore in union contracts.that barely covers inflation.
