yup, it's logical and wonderful. though I've been in a couple of buildings in europe where the basement floors were numbered with negatives. I was pleased
 
a few people have commented on reddit about it but there hasn't been too much discussion. partly because I neglected to put any details on how to send us feedback until the last episode. overall I've got about 500 downloads for all four episodes we've put up so far.

thought about using facebook's "boost post" feature for 5 bucks but I don't think I want to rely on that just yet

promotion is something I need to look at. right now it's a couple of posts in r/military and r/usmc as well as my own subreddit. goes out on twitter but this account doesn't have any followers yet so I have to retweet it with my own. according to facebook's stats dozens to hundreds of people are seeing the post but they naturally don't all translate to downloads
 
get about 15 under your belt then do some huge controversy, leak some military secrets or something, get some real buzz. hint that whatever you leaked will lead to a big revealing of something major in the next episode along with sources, proof, etc.

then tell everyone about the aliens or JFK or some shit.

I'm talking with adam driver's agency about getting him on for an interview. I think that would get some views but I can't rely on that

I listen to podcasts when I'm working or download them to my phone and listen when I'm traveling. I can usually hit a few a week.

I have 2 cousins who are marines (no longer active duty). I sent them the information, I think they will be v interested, especially the one who was a communication specialist in the service.

:lol: yeah soon as that dropped I thought "oh shit I have to talk about this" then realized there's nothing to talk about yet. at least for anyone but me, none of the guests so far are licensed trekkies

edit: buuuuuuut The Incomparable posted that they'll be doing an episode on the news so I look forward to hearing that

One my cousins already put the podcast info on his facebook, so he must have listened to one episode already. He got a few likes from his marine friends, so hopefully they will check it out. :)
