Yes they were open. Funny you should mention that. One day in our bedroom, things were getting hot and heavy (ropes and chains were used) and our window was cracked open. As I was moaning very loudly and chim was thrusting, you would hear some gasps. Apparently in the unit next to ours, the condo owner was showing a family the porch in hopes of selling it. Needless to say she didn't make that sale.
