Perhaps that was the specific rule, but why have those standards for thread titles and not name titles? Those appear more frequently than thread titles do. Granted those details no longer exist in the rules, but since someone brought up the whole worksafe av thang I figured it was up for discussion.

That's not an argument to still stand. There is no rule, what should be enforced? If bad words were such a problem, make a thread and say something. fly and theacoustician have been pretty good about working with people here if there is a problem. If vulgar words could jeopardize your employment then you shouldn't really be browsing the internet, let alone a forum such as this. You can turn off avatars, you can use another theme that filters bad words. What is the difference?

What good does it do to enforce that standard on av's when someone's title above it says "Cum guzzler" or "goat fucker". And as you said, if I have to use the Worksaferest theme to filter that stuff out then what's the point of having the worksafe rule in the first place? My answer: because it makes this place more enjoyable and raises fewer concerns for those of us posting from work (which last I checked was a huge majority of us).

I'm not really arguing just picking on you for the most part. If you want to make a point about nsfw content, do it. Don't use a thread about avatars to do it. There are some people who don't have to worry about "Cum guzzler" being flagged at work. Some don't even have to worry about porn. But it is nice for those that do to have the choice. Honestly, I change my theme when I am at work and again when I get home. I would say one good reason for having a nsfw rule would be for new people who haven't registered and don't have the choice. Another would be for a network admin that is nosy, like myself, that decides he wants to see what Mike is doing today. WHAT IS THAT MAN DOING TO HIS ANUS!? 'More enjoyable' is a point of view and while I agree with you, even if I have crossed the line numerous times, that's not a valid reason. Raises fewer concerns with people posting from work is a valid reason.

You can either laugh and play along or get annoyed by some asinine jokes. I choose the former and even that has gotten me into trouble with a person or two. Even if we did have sex, it would not be posted here by me or joked about.
