I had a glass of 1792 whiskey with a Millennium Falcon-shaped ice cube.

Now I'm watching a documentary on the Freemasons, and it's fuckin' fascinating.

Not a huge fan of 1792, but I'm just trying to kill the bottle, so I can justify getting some more knob or bulleit.

It's not an insult. I just don't find the artwork to be a compelling reason to pay more for a bottle of what I can get elsewhere for cheaper.

I have not had their flavored whiskey (what, Alabama-style?). Not a fan of flavored whiskeys.

Their plain whiskey is just another MGP product.

I picked up some more Bulleit.

So, anyone know what to do with high quality rum? Friend got me some fairly nice rum for my birthday, he called it a "sipping rum" when he gave it to me.

I had some, its fairly good but I can't help that think its whiskey without the tastes that make whiskey whiskey (peat, smokey, etc)

I'm not a rum fan, but I would assume that you don't mix good rum with something, so...

I don't know that I've ever heard of a sipping rum, though. Or heard of anyone drinking it neat.
