I know the Mika song but obviously not all the lyrics as I still can't think what the clue is referring to. I'll need to listen to refresh my memory.

Edit: Hmm see if you'd actually alluded to Grace Kelly and Freddie Mercury rather than just saying "my attempts to act like famous celebrities" I might have got it. I was trying to think for ages what that might mean.

Yes well if I make it too obvious, then it would be too obvious. People could just look for Grace Kelly lyrics on google, and would instantly get it.
 
Rory Bremner recorded a parody version to illustrate the problems of UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown [1].
The song was featured in a season two episode of The Hills.
