do you not have cable? here anyway comcast broadcasts all the local channels in HD over the wire...just plug the cable directly into the back of the tv and do a channel scan
i have extended basic analog cable (free due to cable internet subscription). not sure if they send the hd channels down the wire. didn't even know they could do that, since i read that some digital hd channels (OTA broadcast) get in the way of analog channels.
if it turns out i do get them over the wire i'm going to be pissed.
that's the same service I have and the qam tuner pics up all 70+ regular cable channels in digital besides the analog and I get all the locals in HD
wonderful. now i have an antenna to return to amazon. i'm going to get fucked out of return shipping, i just know it.
Have you ever watched an OTA signal and then compared it to cable?
OTA is fucking delicious. 19.2Mbs of unadulterated picture quality.
Yeah... cable, satellite, and fios compress the shit out of the signal. It's all good... till something moves. Then you're looking at a fucking mosaic.
With Brighthouse, motion was okay, just had tons of little blocks. The horrible part was a static picture suddenly replaced with motion = blocks the size of Sarcasmo's square head.

Let's get into this some more:
Manchester United (good history, only managed to win anything recently) - owned by an American. In the case of Man U the ownership has nothing to do with success, it's all down to Sir Alex Ferguson. No real debate there.
Arsenal - Owned by a PLC, only 1 American on the board and he owns 28%. Everyone else is European.
Liverpool FC - Brought out by two stupid Americans and now still running in debt and being run into the ground by two imbeciles who know nothing about how the game is run who everybody wants out. Probably going to be sort to the Abi Dabi Group any day now because they're way more rich than Hicks and Gillett could dream of. YAY!
Chelsea FC - Owned by Roman Ibramovic who is Russian.
And after those 2 the next most valuable teams in the world are both Spanish and owned by members of a board (who are all Spanish - Real Madrid) or Barcelona which is owned by all it's fans.
Now with this in mind, and considering that the manager has waaaaay more to do with any successes (you only have to look at Manchester City who have unlimited funds by Mark Hughes running round like a headless chicken) what exactly does these Americans bring to the table? Worked for Man U, that's it. Name me one good American manager or a player other than Freidel.
