Anyone here like classical music or are you too busy listening to Buster Rhymes?

As I get older I listen to more and more. Mostly because it never changes, never goes out of fashion, because it never is in. It arches over pretty much every fad of music I've ever had.

It also touches places in me that Kiki's boobies could never reach.

(Samuel L Jackson voice): 'EXAMPLE':

I've recently started listening to classical music. Its very relaxing.

If you like relaxing classical, you cant beat this:

I haven't really listened to classical music since I was much younger.

(When I was much younger, my mom insisted that only classical music was to be played under her roof. Sigh.)

I like Romantic music better.

Tchaikovsky, etc.

But I do enjoy Gustav Holst as well.

Tchaikovsky and prokofiev are two of my favorites, wonderful. If you like them you would also like this:

wait until about 40 seconds in.

My parents did that a bit but with opera. To this day I cant listen to opera without thinking about being 6 years old and watching people fight. :(

I like classical music but I'm guilty of not listening to it too much lately. I should have it play while I'm sleeping.

A long time ago I played several instruments so I heard a lot. I did allstate playing the bassoon a few times and use to be able to play the clarinet and several different types of saxophone. Those brain cells were wiped by college partying and they are now used to store music lyrics, info about tv/movies, and for drooling on myself.

Not true classical but still enjoyable.

I should state that I'm a percussionist and have been for 22 years now. What I love is the music with percussion just everywhere and the power associated with it.

lol, well I play drums. I would imagine you would like this then. Anyone that cant hear modern dance music in this I give up on.

This makes me laugh. From the Fu Schnickens Wikipedia entry:

The single was a Top 40 hit in the summer of 1993, briefly propelling the group into the mainstream. The group's second album, Nervous Breakdown, did not arrive until 1994, by which time the rap landscape had dramatically changed, and there was no longer an audience for their unique style.

Really? 6 months to a year later they were irrelevant?
