After you've given yourself enough time to think about it just to be on the safe side you should get a Chilton or Haynes manual. They only cost around $20 to $30 bucks, and it makes is SUPER easy to follow along with each repair.
Well seeing as I've basically had to be financially independant since I was 18, I didn't have that luxury.
Paying out of state tuition with a part time job kind of wipes out your finances.
you know what would make a splendid addition to your bookshelf? the haynes and chilton's manuals for a 2003 honda civic! you could even put them on display on your coffee table...they make wonderful conversation pieces. I hear they retail for a mere $20-30
