Do not generalize Texas. Also do not be so naive that kids that age aren't having sex. I may have mentioned this before, but it still bewilders me. My dad works at a Childrens Hospital in Texas and they deliver babies there. Children having babies. ALL THE FREAKING TIME.

You're missing the point of the age. That is the optimal age for immune system response. ...or that's what Dr. Drew says anyway.

I once drew blood from a 14 year old in the maternity ward, she was like thisclose to going into labor. And she'd only just turned 14 :(

It was really weird, she was just a baby herself, I mean I can remember what I was like when I was 13/14. Gross :(

I'm honestly not sure. I know you're definitely not truly physically mature at that age, but I think if your uterus is mature enough to be pregnant, and to bring that baby to term, then they might be. I honestly don't know, though.
