Here's real data. In my area, there are probably 10-50 different places I can go right now for free testing. Florida has a test positivity rate of around 2.5%. Ideally its around 1% IIRC, but that's still really fucking good.
There is a ton of great data out there, but you'll have to leave your 'how is this Trumps fault' Twitter echo chamber to find it.

The issue is COVID numbers is the same issue they have with most viral deaths. They are next to impossible to get an accurate count due to how they are counted. Take for instance HIV. Most people don't die from the HIV directly. They die from something else due to the HIV complications. Same with flu, obesity, heart issues, etc, etc. It really comes down to how the doctor or coroner classifies it. We had our 3rd person die in CO after receiving the experimental treatment of convalescent plasma. They all seemed to do ok for a few days then all started having massive strokes. All 3 of the people were healthy under the age of 43. It all revolves around COVID causing blood clots.

Also I just spent 10 minutes raging on Joes Facebook because it turns out he has some now ex friends who are dickheads. One thinks we should end lockdown and it's worth vulnerable people dying because lol the economy, and another person said they're high risk but they'd rather take their chances. I went a bit nuclear and Joe had to delete all my swearing and delete them too because I told him I wouldn't censor myself.
I'm thinking this mindset is either stupidity and / or people who have never had to experience real struggle before. It's this spoiled, entitled, fuck other people because I'm being mildly inconvenienced behavior.
