Really only pleasure i get from this friggin job is getting the peeps who come into my "control" the money they deserve. Like the basic wage and medical benefits they deserve. Can't help the poor SOBs that fall through the cracks elsewhere. Insurance adjusters probably take classes in "underclass people who are statistically easy to fuck". You need to make an insurance claim and don't want to get fucked over? Code-switch your ass to sounding like you went to college and are white AF. Or hire someone who can. FedEx contracts out for at least some of their delivery types (so like, there's Ground, Express, and Home Delivery & each one is kind of its own thing). Jason drives for FedEx but is employed by someone else who bought the route from FedEx (or from another contractor, they buy/trade routes from each other)
Contracting those types of jobs is the easiest way for an employer to wash their hands of responsibility while fucking someone.

Except those jobs don't go unfilled. That's how market forces work. McDonalds needs burgers flipped. If that position isn't filled, guess what they do. Raise the salary for that position! OMG!
If governments force abnormally inflated salaries, then companies have to raise prices for consumers. That increases inflation. Any idea what that does to everyone's salary?
