Call me crazy but I prefer the studio albums. I'm listening to anthem of the sun right now, and at least the engineers insisted that they tune their guitars before they start a song.
Shoot me an album title and we'll listen to it on the same day. And then we'll review it. Sounds like fun!

I really like fish but I could like them more if their drummer would just settle down and stop trying to impress people every other measure. "Look at me Mom dividing again and now I'm dividing again and now I'm dotting the eighth notes and now I'm playing it straight" etc etc. Why not just settle into a pocket with your bass player and stop being a fukkn show off?
I remember being at a phish concert and liking it but was too out of it to remember details.
They're one of those that pre-internet days didn't get any airplay or radio support but had an enormous underground following at live shows. Fans would seemingly appear out of nowhere and fill huge places.
Lot of them were I guess what you'd call neo-hippie or something. Like the kids of Deadheads.
