WTF So I just dick'd my butt

I AM TAKING YOUR SITE HOSTAGE
GIVE ME 1875 IN UNMARKED BILLS
OR ELSZZZZ
I say count yourself lucky it's taken this long for someone not to pay and obviously refuse more work till it's paid. Bill him monthly but don't get your hopes up anytime soon. Are you able to report to credit agencies? A letter stating you are going to do so may be more motivation to follow through on a payment plan.

Sure, I'm lucky. Ugh, just don't want to deal with this bullshit. #tantrum
Looking into agencies and also adding a late fee that compounds to my agreement going forward.

Life lesson.

Four years into running a business and now, for the first time, I have a client who doesn't want to pay their bill. This is someone I've been working with since almost the beginning, but they are having money troubles so they can't pay their $1825.00 bill. That's a lot of stray cat food he's pulling off my table.

Anyways, not sure what to do just yet. Offered to setup a payment plan (it's not a large amount, wtf dude). If he declines... perhaps collections, but doubt that's worth it... hmpf.

@Josh what's your preferred method of strong arming people to pay their bill?
Pay thugs $200 to go break his legs. Create a reputation for yourself.

I love watching my coworker's stress over a problem in the code after they've dismissed my solution without actually listening to what my solution was. In an hour or 2 they will come up with their own solution that will be identical to mine.

Wtf?? Don't you have admin access to the very thing you built? You should restrict usage until they pay.

I do have access, and he did pay in full for the initial end product, but there were marketing and other costs that I charged him hourly for after the fact.
