Hawt First schlong transplant performed

No, it genuinely frustrates me when the pope and the head of the Islamic and Hindu faiths as well as national leaders advocate for procreation when they cannot feed their own populations. It's anachronistic and irresponsible.

i think @kiwi is the only baby factory here. the rest of us keep the babies to a minimum.

your taking a discussion about a dude well outside of his procreative years getting a penile replacement due to losing his from cancer and moving it into a religious bash regarding procreation and population control?

Please read into the tenets brought down by said leaders before you get pissed off about what they say.

What is the point of a penis in this case unless it's for sex, procreation or not? So he doesn't have to sit to pee? Is that worth the surgical experimentation and dangers for that? And what is to stop someone from getting this done to aid in procreation, or to enhance what they have because of a low self esteem?

Hello. Breast implants called and said 'Why is it okay for us to be used for breast cancer survivors, then?)

I, for one, still enjoy having sex even though I can't procreate. I would also like to continue doing so.

Are you saying you think it's horrible that this guy got a transplant? Are you against artificial limbs too? Wigs for chemo patients? Where do you draw the line, I'd like to know.

Why should it stop any of those things? People get botox and fake everything at the drop of a hat to help with low self esteem.

This pope, more than others, has been supportive of "reasonable" procreation. This is a bit of a turn from historical requests for large families. From the Vatican catechism archives: "Sacred Scripture and the Church's traditional practice see in large families a sign of God's blessing and the parents' generosity."

A lot of it is cultural as well. India has put together lots of programs for sterilization but they have been seen as the government going against the man, so other programs like condom usage and such has been ignored.

All I know is I don't understand such a surgery. What is the point? Is it for urination? If that's the case, follow what I mentioned before. Is it for aesthetics? Get over yourself, Mary. Is it for procreative reasons? That would be irresponsible as well as pointless (just do artificial insemination if you must). I just don't get the motivation.

Sex is a pretty basic human drive. What's not to get?

Artificial limbs help one restore an active life by restoring required functionality to the body. I don't find erections, or peeing standing REQUIRED functionality of the body. Nice-to-haves, sure, required, no.

Does a new leg restore the ability to walk? That's ok. Does a new hand restore the ability to cook and clean and work? That's ok. What functionality does restoring a penis do that is required to live?

I am not a fan of breasts augmentation, facial reconstruction (unless it restores lost functionality like jaw breakage, eye function, etc) or most definitely pectoral and abdominal implants. Vanity is not a good reason to undergo surgical procedures. It is your choice, I guess, but it's a shitty one.
