Ya, but you're morally bankrupt.
i didn't used to be.
i used to take the high road on everything, never got me any farther in life, and in a lot of cases (most even) I came out on the losing end for doing the "right" thing.

Now tell me, how does that make you feel?
What about those who have suffered in your wake?
nice emotionally charged trap question
do you feel bad for all of the stray dogs that you see on the street but don't personally try to save?
That concludes our session for today.
I do the same thing! Also look under driving cars for tails of pets hanging down because they got up in there for warmth.I feel bad every time i drive by a cardboard box on the side of the road and consider that theyre might be kittens in it.
I hope that leaving kittens in a cardboard box on the side of a road is not still a thing, or never was. But it might be.
I was once offered a $6 raise to stay at a job. That shit only made me leave sooner. Those fuckers thought I was worth 6 more dollars an hour and were holding out. Fuck 'em.There are 2 schools of thought.
It 'could' be a reward for past performance.
But, my first thought, and I've learned to trust my instincts, is that they got a hint I was going to quit and this was their lame attempt to try and prevent that. They aren't real smart with people management around there, and I suspect they think more money is the answer to my issues with that place, and not the fact they are horrible managers who have created an absolutely shitty environment to work in.
In short, it's a lame attempt at a retention bonus.
I honestly thought you, of everyone here, would be in the 'no, give it back' group.
C'mon, man. Necessary and irrelevant to you is not the same for everyone else. You know thatBut an unnecessary one. Just quit. If they want to stop the money, they will.
