but I love exploring everywhere on a bike.

These girls I went to lunch with a few days ago were saying that rollerblading is just as much of a workout as running. I just stared at them in disbelief.

Maybe if you are pushing yourself sooooo fast on blades as if you are running, but I can't see it. (they so aren't)

Skating is a killer workout for your legs. Bike riding 72 miles for a comparative 5 mile run is laughable. And if you are looking for the best workout possible, it's swimming.
 
Almost anything *can* be a good workout. It's intensity that actually determines if it is or not...

Depends on the purpose of the workout. If you are just trying to burn calories, swimming wins hands down. If you are trying to bulk up swimming isn't going to do anything worthwhile.
 
Seriously though, turkey bacon is good. Not the weird dyed stuff.

You can burn as many calories in as many minutes with just about any cardio activity. It just depends on intensity.
