WTF For all you runners...

I watched Desert Runners the other day, 2013 documentary about ordinary people who try to complete the 4 Deserts series of ultramarathons. Good stuff. I'm not even into running. These fuckers ran 250 km through each of the Atacama, Gobi, Sahara, and Antarctic deserts.

There was a study years ago that said broccoli is deadly too.

The companies get paid to do these studies. If they didn't find shit that goes against the grain then they wouldn't be in business.

This doesn't go against the grain. It is in the middle of the grain.
What company will benefit from people being told not to run as much?

Just to be safe you might want to double down on the life insurance. :p

It makes sense though. Just like everything in life, moderation is best.

Running ultra marathons, of course you are damaging your body.
Not running/exercising at all, of course you are damaging your health.

Companies that produce other type of exercise equipment. P-90X, insanity, etc...
Eh, I don't see long distance runners as being the type to do P90x and whatever even if they don't do long distance running. The two groups don't overlap a lot to me. Of course, I have no numbers to back that up.
the one that did the study?
LeHigh Valley Hospital?
