I find this with almost all consumer headphones, likely because they're targeted at people who listen to hip hop and just want that extra heavy low end. makes them hell for listening to stuff like tool with plenty of low mid detail.
the 700s aren't bad at all for that. actually one of my biggest pleasant surprises was how much detail I could pull out of the high bass / low mid range.
i was playing around with the jambi intro today and realized (not of my own accord, via the internet) that he gets that opening chugging riff by plucking the lower 2 strings with his finger after the pull-off instead of picking it. not hard to play by any means but like.....why would you even think to do that? i love it.

Found this radio that still works. I put it in the bunnies room so they can listen to music and voices and we can take the good one to listen to Bobby Velasquez on KOKE1600 on Saturday mornings and use it for the other odd occasional occasions.
Tuner dial is a little touchy but I found some stuff that comes in good. They're going to grow up to be Tejano dancing Republican Art Bell fans.

My neighbor across the way came to say bye. We never could understand each other much but we got along good. Lots of pointing and words like bueno and love. They're moving out too, same as the next door neighbors of questionable legality did. Had a thing worked out with those folks as far as a hiding/escape route that really bonded us. I'm not sure how legal it was, don't care, they were good folks.

Recently our city counsel removed some ban on "camping in the city" or some such.
These mothers got whole cities with casinos and everything set up everywhere . Fuckin villages under overpasses and stuff. Like with actual furniture like lazy boys and shit.
I've become jaded. They're all thieves
I know this because I was once there myself and I know how that shit operates .
People who've never been there don't have a fuckin clue. The ones that think they're helping by tons of social programs and the ones who say bootstraps are pretty much equal idiots. They might come from different places or have different ideas but they all land on the square that says stupid.
I don't know that there is a solution to this but I do know that every proposed solution is bullshit.
It's kind of a catch-22. I've been in some of these motherfuckers position before. I know what a human will do when they're desperate. The usual niceties of society don't apply. At the same time I've had these shitbags steal from me things I worked hard and saved up for only to have them steal and sell off or scrap for a few bucks, all because they got all day to do shit like that and it's easier to take from somebody else than do for yourself.
One thing we all have in common....taking easy prey. I don't care if it's swindling somebody out of their investment portfolio or weaseling somebody out of a few bucks or a softer place to sleep, the motivations, methods, and attitudes are exactly the same. Just some is looked down on by "society" and some is revered, that's all. In the end it's the same fuckin thing.

Had to do that once - car blocked the mother fucker and hopped out with a tire iron, he hopped off and ran. Threw it in the trunk, then rode on and saw the wife's bike(yeah, they stole it too, same day, right out of the garage), out in this vacant lot they use as a park. Drove right over the curb and headed for them. They left a handful of bikes and scattered. Drove home with my arm out the window clutching that fucking bike.
This kind of thing gives me a sense of adventure, Eddie. Makes my heart go pitter-patter.
FUck yes!! I was so pissed. I was lucky - wife saw them as they left, then a neighbor who was out walking waved me down, "did I just see 2 n-ers riding your bikes"(black neighbor, my favorite guy to hang with
). "They went into that neighborhood". And for a few minutes, I was the only kinda white man in that corner of da hood.
Any smooth operator will tell you getting incapacitated by any means is a no-no.
Half the reason we are going to be successful is that we are alert and they are not.
That feels so much better than any high.
That look when they know they're fucked and there is no escape.
