US Airways plane crashes into Hudson river

Both engines broke off during the crash so that made the plane considerably lighter, so that helped it stay somewhat buoyant. Also those Airbus A320 planes have a ditch switch which shuts off all external intakes, ports, etc. to make it a bit more water tight.

So what happened to the large dogs that are crated under the plane??????

They probably didn't have any. Most airlines won't allow the shipment of dogs if it is hotter than 70 and colder than 50. So for most areas it gives you like a 3-4 month window that you can actually crate a large dog on a plane.

They tried to escape the rising water, but being crated could only turn in frantic circles as they eventually became submerged. Confused and afraid, they inhaled lungfuls of water. In their last moments they kicked and thrashed as darkness embraced them.

I checked a few airline sites and it most are under 45 or above 80. This is for most breeds if it is a pub orsnub nose dog and cats then it's 70.

omg I bet the plane was crashed intentionally just to torture those dogs!
