The plot clearly stated they built the Hoover dam to cover up the cube. The cube was HUGGGGE in the movie at first, thats why they built around it. LOL DAMMIT GET WITH THE PICTURE

If you liked Transformers from back in the day you will love the movie just the same. People who go into thinking they are going to see some realistic non-corny movie should just stay out. I dont understand how people call this movie corny, NO SHIT, so was the TV series, kinda the point
Exactly, which is why I loved this movie. 2nd only to 300
300 is your favorite movie?? :thrawn:
you don't like books with words, do you?
It wasn't plainly visible. I was under the impression it went underground to a point.
Bash the 300 again and I may terminate Bay and YOU in some kind of package "twofer" deal.
Oh I have no problem with 300, not at all. But to be ones favorite? C'mon.
Then again the battle of thermopylae has fascinated me for many years so I was miffed at the lack of an attempt at historical accuracy. Yes I know it was loosely based off a comic book that was even more loosely based off the real event...but still, there are people out there who think the movie is even remotely similar to what happened.
I enjoy 300 simply for the theatrics used, the carnage, and the butt-kickery. It's a fun movie, the acting is done pretty well, and the cinematography is breathtaking.
Even with its historical accuracy issues: 300 > Transformers
The commercials make it look as if a half-blind, brain damaged, redneck Albanian took a dump on some photo paper after guzzling finger paints, and they used that as their storyboard.

I have to wonder, however, why didn't Prime break that piece of the Allspark in half so he could fix up Jazz in addition to Bumblebee? Oh and how did Sam know that it would kill Megatron and not make him a billion times more powerful? Eh.
Whole-heartedly agree.
Still, if it also happens to be one's favorite movie I can't imagine there's a lot of reading in that household.
sorry cocky
