Toronto is? I mostly like that within an 8 hour drive there's a huge chunk of my extended family and lots of interesting places to visit. There's good transit, good sailing, good night life and the quality of life is really high.

Yeah, an hour away is Niagara wine country, one of the first and best ice wine productions in the world but other great stuff, too. Very very fun because within 30 miles are about 40 wineries.
