My sister had the same set up & marveled when her little kid came over and started rolling and tumbling and moving all over the place when they visited because her kid didn't do that at her house. They carpeted the entire 2nd floor and were amazed how fast the little dude was tumbling and moving around up there.

It's kind of important developmental muscle coordination stuffs.
