FOLLOW UP: it's actually a failing spherical joint on the traction rod on the side of the rear of the Z that had the toe rod come disconnected from the subframe.The rear bushings in the 300ZX are squeaky AF in the cold. Gonna have to regrease them soon, which means I need to order some more SuperLube.
