Ontopic The new car-seching thread

Googling that spark plug number gave me the socket size right away.

Hint: what's 15.88mm in inches?
Ugh, 5/8ths is way sloppy on it though or my spark plug sockets blow, they're gw cause ex stole my armstrong stuff
 
Forgot to drain my oil catch can last night, throw some wrenches and a drip pan in the truck figuring I'll do it at lunch.
Lunchtime, eat, head out and start loosening the drain plug. Drain plug is too tight, whole bottom of this chinesium piece of shit can comes off. Instead of a steady drip in one spot so I can place the pan properly there is a deluge. Drip pan is nowhere near adequate.
 
Back on the 1600.

Kids used an advance pizza-based cardboard-aided drafting technique that I taught them to fabricate a patch for the rusted-out part.

I cheated and bought them a sheet metal brake after they transferred the design to a piece of sheet metal.

Then the boy decided he'd go ahead and punch some holes in to fill-weld it in place.

We finished it up with some seam sealer and rustoleum rust converter paint.

Got a few more panels to make, then it's going back on the frame for suspension work.
