Advice The Home Improvement/Automation Thread

I've read this three times and still dont understand it.

Given some of todays 'approximate' tech, I was just shocked that a city water meter was that accurate. But since it's also the city meter, it would be very durable - I've never heard of one failing. (I don't have accuracy or durability info on the ones you linked to) Dom impresses me as a guy who'd meter the meter to see that it's 99.873% accurate. :lol:
 
Our fancy schamnse gas stove the previous owners put has been doing the thing with the range top burners where the ignitor won't stop clicking. Cleaned the fuck out of it with no luck.

Guy came to install a new thingy, because thats "always" the issue, which I agree with after lots of intertube research, that and the cleaning.
