Started restacking the firewood. It has been under the deck in lock racks, but the racks are sinking into the lovely Maryland clay.

I laid out some weed barrier, and put 3 double 2x8x8'sdown that I laminated together.

The racks will sit on those. Plus, it's away from the house.

he should have, but if the 2x8x8s are ground rated it should last a good long time. Also, if i remember right, his wood rack is under his deck, so the soil under the weed fabric should be dryish

It's in front of the chimney now. But it drains well because of the slope of the yard.
