Firing off a benchy on the tungsten nozzle with glow-in-the-dark filament. Seems good so far.



I added the struts because the frame wasn't quite 90° between the bottom and Z gantry. Now it is.

At any rate, I did the same thing for the Cricut tools:

Happy. 150mm/s left and right. Both PLA, left is glow-in-the-dark through tungsten, right is regular old PLA through brass.

Now I'm printing up an enclosure for a filament runout sensor that uses the Z endstop switch I'm not using anymore.

Anything cricut is $30 at the craft store. Mine was downloaded from thingiverse, and took about 50 cents of plastic to make.

Reconfiguring is the complete beauty of that system. Dude designed 100 different containers you can print!

Works just like brass (just as fast), but doesn't wear out on all the ridiculous filaments my kids like to use.

I got two different ones. One from Matterhackers by "Dyze design" and one amazon special.

I can't tell any real material difference between the two; they're both as fast as brass, and they're both holding up through about a kg of fiber and glow PLA.

I have one of each but haven't noticed any difference yet. I'm not pushing anything to the edge in terms of speed though.

I'd do tungsten carbide, because I've read the same things you have.

Did you just get lucky with the Matterhackers just being in stock, or did you buy from somewhere else?
