I keep telling you but you don't believe me, but I got fat. I'm packing on the pounds so Dan and I can fulfill our fantasy of naked sumo wrestling.
So I ended up buying a LePan tc970

Its basically an android(froyo)-driven Ipad
Put a 32 giggle bit sd card in it, loaded it up with a bunch of comics and ebooks, and its awesome!
The thing is pretty solid, and has plenty of other apps that will run on it
Works great as a reader

Nice. I'm really trying to convince myself not to buy a Transformer, now that the Prime has been out for a while.
So I sent this thing back
After using it for a few days, it has some weird quirks
If it goes to sleep on its own, it has to be reset by the little pinhole on the back
Lots of random freezes, requiring a reset
some apps are slow to respond to starting, and in use
And I could never get the microphone to work
Its ok, but too flaky for my liking
to replace it, I ordered an Asus Transformer
