heat pads only matters for the germination, which requires no light at all (except in the case of weird shit like lettuce)
That depends where you're growing. I used to start things off in January so keeping seedlings warmafter germination was important. I didn't move things into the greenhouse till March or so.

I need to clean out roughly a cubic yard of dirt, then I can start replanting shit. My peppers have declined for this reason.

I have to build a plot at the new house still, probably not gonna do anything until next year. I'll definitely not start building the plot until the old CrapShack™ is either sold, or I've successfully transitioned to slum lord.
 
I kill flowers/plants too much for me to bother. Always jealous of others' gardens but I just have no talent for growing. Definitely a black thumb here. We had a good sized garden in our yard. I eventually let the grass grow over it.
 
I have tiny tomatoes. :happy: should be able to start eating them in a month. (The cherry ones, don't quite have tomatoes on the full sized plant)
