I agree. People who drive suburbans for themselves and MAYBE one child are idiots. We plan on buying a 4 Runner, but I will be toting 3 kids around in it (in a few years). We also want the 4 wheel drive and the covered storage.

And the V6 versions of most of the midsized SUV's, get similar mileage as minivans. A minivan, even with AWD would suffer on the roads by my place too, not enough ground clearance.
