How's the kid doing after your move? Glad to hear you're doing good and adjusting to just being a Mature Independent Lady Friend. tm ;)

the move and separation was super hard on him.
my ex was a lot of things but he was an excellent provider and step father to my son.
sadly more of a father figure than his bio dad.

so kiko had a real hard time at first and perhaps prob still struggles. he has his virtual meetings with his therapist 1x a week now and he seems to be in a better place but i keep my eye on him.

also, the fact that he is forced to do online schooling isn’t helping him at all. he’s such a social child and being locked up is like a prison sentence to him.

he’s almost 14 and i think back to what i was doing at his age and omg i’m sooooo god he’s locked up with me lol

waiitttt they gave a PEER REVIEW?
do you talk smack about your peers to your superiors ? que?? no entiendo

yeah, I never get tapped to do peer reviews because I am peerless, but they can't NOT do them for me bc it's The Rules™ (so like other people get them but it kinda makes some sense bc they're asking people they work with/around) but the only person I actually work with occasionally is my supervisor, who is doing the supervisor review so she can't be the peer reviewer  it's anonymous to the person being reviewed, so I don't know who talks shit but my supervisor knows 🙃 but I have some suspicions haha

giiiirl this work from home life is LIFEEEE!
since covid shut my business down i have saved sooo much in gas and nonsense expenses.

i don’t see many people and i fucking love every second of it. and i get to watch my kiddo 24/7 and make sure he is safe! like this is the perfect scenario for a helicopter mom like me

i get that it’s not the best situation for him but i just love being home with him. he’s so cute
I'm glad it's working out so well for you! the whole situation sucks so it's good to find joy and good where you can

so i’ve made it to yet another phase of the testing for this job i applied for on a whim.

Now I have to do a 2 hour test. I googled the testing centre and found a website that has some questions for the test and the questions for the interview

soooo I’m gonna study.

honestly i can’t see them hiring me but Im just gonna see this through. I think this helps my healing process and will make me feel better, whether i get the job or not.

My standing desk is about 1/2" too short for my standing height when at full extension if I've got my shoes on.

If I take my shoes off, it's much better, but then it affects everybody else's ergonomic situation.

Anyone ever been part of a buying group? (Question probably might only apply to @Mikeawesome). Been signed up with a few for a while, but finally dipped my toes in the water. Basically, I buy requested items from Best Buy, Amazon, etc with it shipping to the company's warehouse. Once they get it, they pay the full cost for the item, and I get to keep any gift card discounts, bonuses, and/or credit card points.

In my case, I'll just be using it as a way to generate CC points from home.

Flame away fuckers!

I stopped manufacturing spending after my bluebird card got cancelled. I'll still open new cards from time to time but offers are getting worst
