Food Quick cooking thread - post ingredients, get ideas.

Do you have a grill? I see kebabs with the tomatoes, potatoes, mushrooms, green peppers and probably a couple other. Marinate in something, skewer, bbq, enjoy.

stuffed green peppers - stuff with sauteed mushrooms, mashed new potatos, bacon, chorizo. season with chili pepper, black pepper, bit of salt, paprika. Could sub in rice instead of new potatos

eggplant parmasan with a side salad and steamed broccoli with bacon bits (that would use up pretty much all of that list in that one dish)

Let's get back to using these peas up.

You'll need 6 peas.

Make a batter using rice flour and sparkling water. Dip a pea in the batter then deep fry.
Take a second pea and boil it in the remaining spring water.
The third pea should be frozen then grated all over a white plate.
The fourth pea should be sliced thinly and sauteed. Then reconstruct the pea.
Pea four should be marinated in green creme de menthe
Pea five is to be blended with cream, sugar and eggs then frozen. Use a tiny scoop to select a pea sized and shaped morsel of this ice cream.
Mash pea six up and simmer with a little stock until you have a smooth pea puree.

Using a piping bag, create four small crowns of pea puree. Onto each in turn place the tempura pea, reconstructed sauteed pea, minted pea and pea ice cream. Et voila! Petit Pois Pretensieuses.

This will be fine as a starter. If you want it as a main course, simply double up using 12 peas.

You could do Mexican-style (ish) recipe.

Quarter the new potatoes. "stir fry" the potatoes (just slowly stir in a pan of oil). stir in some already-cooked bacon, already-cooked chorizo, and diced tomatoes. Cover with cheese. You could make up some flour tortillas to serve with it. Season if you like with salt, pepper, chili pepper.

That sounds nomalicious

make a rudimentary pasta dish with diced tomatoes, wilted spinach, yellow courgettes chunked, broccoli mushrooms, tossed in some garlic and olive oil tossed pasta.

You could make a pasta bake (well you can't, but most people could) by putting the above mixture in a casserole (or hot dish if you are Midwestern) dish, cover with cheese, and bake until just starting to turn brown.
