Man, if that happens there's gonna be a lot of homeless people in San Francisco indicted on federal charges.
I fail to see how shitting on the street effects interstate commerce. Other than that they can only outlaw it on federal property.

C'mon don't spread false info. It was a settlement so it never went to trial. And quoting the Texas daily tribune:

"The attorney general and former Supreme Court judge said a person facing the same type of injury he sustained would still have the same remedies available to him at the time."
 
I'm sure that's next on the list for some states to try and do.
Are you aware there is a difference between state jurisdiction and federal jurisdiction? Like a state can have insurrection laws peraining to the /state/ government but not the /federal/ government.
 
He hasn't been convicted of insurrection, WTF did anyone expect.
This is a good thing.

Because the ruling also prevents other states from leaving Biden off the ballot despite him not being convicted of anything either, and you know some of the states would try.
 
The GOP majority took the opportunity to basically say "only congress can bar someone from holding office due to insurrection."

And the requirements for barring someone don't exist. And everything else about the 14th amendment is self executing. Except, for some reason, this part?
 
What a fucking circus you guys have down there
It's gonna get even crazier when one or both of the guys running for president down here die of old age before election day and the parties have to scramble to nominate a last minute candidate.
