Also that's how an umbrella works. The part I find interesting is it's basically still 1970s tech (it's basically the same sunshield that was on Skylab in 1974)

Science is formulating a hypothesis then testing it against reality, and either accepting or rejecting the hypothesis.

What someone does, based on that hypothesis and experimentation, is not science, it's application.
