Maybe boil was the wrong word. How about simmer or braise?
Hell naw. If I want meat to fall apart, I'm putting it in my smoker.

Roasting, grilling, frying and smoking are the four permissible means of cooking meat in my household. No boiling (with the sole exception of eggs), no steaming, and especially no microwaving.
 
No corned beef then? I just learned that it is traditionally boiled. I felt like you do but I friggin love corned beef.

and its better boiled. I tried roasting it once with a water pot thing under it in the oven, did not have the right texture.

Corned beef needs to be boiled.
