That's pretty much what it is. I use a sweetened and flaky/lumpy pie pastry like you'd find on an apple pie for turkey flips, instead of the 'homogeneous', spiced up pastry you'd normally use for a patty.

Bacon is gross and trendy.
Sadly I'll agree with the 'trendy' part - there's a bacon fad going on right now, and it's led to a lot of shitty food. Anyone who thinks bacon ice cream is a good idea needs a punch in the head.

Doesn't make bacon any less delicious though.
