So about that... it's nameplate is 19.2A at 208V, and we've got 240V here. So this thing pulls like 22A on a 20A rated circuit, and pulls 5300W instead of 4000W.

MKE went out of business like 10 years ago and I can't find any places online selling the official 240V element for it. There might be a similar sized element that I can poke in there, I'm also considering throwing a TRIAC dimmer in it, I'm actually kinda annoyed that there doesn't seem to be any kind of off the shelf thing I can use.

But so far it seems to work fine and hasn't tripped the breaker. Definitely pushing the I2T curve there, though :)
