Are you coming back? I need to finish, don't be a fucking tease.
And while your dad's in prison you're then 9 times more likely to remain poor and 20 times more likely to end up in prison and on it goes. I'm spotting a pattern here and it may have something to do with, for example, the greater likelihood of being arrested for drugs if you're black.
I'm also pro life if that helps.
Not because I like babies or jesus, just because I don't think women should be making decisions
So tired of people on the internet trying to be funny or edgy with their negative bullshit.
You're the only negative one, everyone else has a sense of humor. So tired of people on the internet trying to be funny or edgy with their negative bullshit.
I don't find humour in racism, and wish no one else would either. Racism, even in jest, is still negative. You're the only negative one, everyone else has a sense of humor.
Throughout history, humor has been used for situations that are uncomfortable, or even illegal in some places. Shakespeare's plays, for example, had political messages that would likely have gotten his head chopped off if they weren't comedic.I don't find humour in racism, and wish no one else would either. Agreed. Humor is important in getting us past what holds us back.Throughout history, humor has been used for situations that are uncomfortable, or even illegal in some places. Just recently, Rosie O'Donnell publicly apologized for making an autism joke after there was a backlash from an autism group. She herself has two chilldren on the autism spectrum, yet she was shamed into apologizing for her humor. Now I'm no Rosie fan :shudders:, but can we not even joke around about anything without the outrage brewing?
Her joke was "I had four teenagers when I decided to adopt a newborn baby. You might ask why. Because I had four teenagers and I needed to remind myself that I actually do love children... Because I would trade each teen for autistic triplets, I am just saying I would."
She apologized publicly afterwards.
People love to hide behind humour to pass off their true colours. I'm just sick of the internet being a place where you get mostly the worst of people. No one is their true self on the internet because on the internet you have hardly any accountability for your words, especially on a forum like this. This is how you get dweebs like hydra and Wickie spouting of the most crude and mindless crap day in day out. I wouldn't mind if it were a minor part of this site and sites in general, but unfortunately this has become the norm. I'm grateful that some here like Domon, Jehannum, fly, gee and others post about their hobbies and add substance to this mode of communication, even if some of their topics don't interest me.Throughout history, humor has been used for situations that are uncomfortable, or even illegal in some places. When the point of a joke is to be offensive as possible and racism is just used as a vehicle for it, I let it slide.I don't find humour in racism, and wish no one else would either. Racism, even in jest, is still negative.
Ya, I don't think anyone is that hateful here. That's so 1900's.When the point of a joke is to be offensive as possible and racism is just used as a vehicle for it, I let it slide.
I'm pretty sure nobody on here is legitimately racist.
